Catching Program

Former National Team catcher Hailey Unger has drafted up two excellent stages of Catching Development Programs (Tobacatch & Tobacatch Advanced).

The Tobacatch Program covers Stance, Shifting, Receiving, Framing. Blocking, Throwing, Bunts Catcher’s Responsibilities. Content of Tobacatch Advanced includes everything in Program 1 at an advanced level plus works on Passed Balls, Plays at Home, Pop ups, Catching various pitches, Calling a game, and various defensive Drills for catchers.

We successfully piloted the clinic stages throughout the winter as part of Softball Canada’s Regional Development Softball Academy - MB Chapter.
