Community Softball Clinic Fee - $125.00

(1 full in-person day = total of 8 hours)

In order to complete your Community Softball Certification you MUST complete the following courses in addition to Softball Manitoba's Community Softball Clinic.

1. Foundations of Coaching Softball: Part 1 = $20.00 fee
2. Make Ethical Decisions
3. NCCP Make Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation

How to register and complete Foundations of Coaching Softball: Part 1

• Log into your Locker Profile here, https://thelocker.coach.ca/account/login?mode=login 
  • If you have forgotten your login credentials, click “Forgot password” on the login page to retrieve your information.
• Once you are logged into the Locker, your NCCP dashboard will appear. Select the ELEARNING tab at the top of the page. Then scroll down the page and select “Softball” (the default is showing “Multi-Sport”). Under the “Available” menu you will see all the Softball e-Learning modules available to complete.
• Click on Foundations of Coaching Softball - Part 1. Read the instructions and when you are ready click the PAY NOW button at the bottom to start the course.

* How to register and complete Make Ethical Decisions - PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT AS OF MARCH 15TH, SPORT MANITOBA COACHING IS NO LONGER OFFERING MED COURSES DUE TO THE UPCOMING CHANGES THROUGH THE NCCP.

• Please see https://coach.ca/module/nccp-make-ethical-decisions if you have previously completed the MED training but have not yet completed the online evaluation

* How to register and complete NCCP Make Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation - PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CURRENT NCCP MED ONLINE EVALUATION BY 11:59:59 PT ON MARCH 31, 2026.

• Once you are logged into the Locker, your NCCP dashboard will appear. Select the ELEARNING tab at the top of the page. The default is showing “Multi-Sport”. Under the “Available” menu scroll down until you see, NCCP Make Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation.
• Click on NCCP Make Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation. Read the instructions and when you are ready click the BEGIN button at the bottom to start the course.

If you do not complete the NCCP MED Online Evaluation by March 31, you will need to complete the new eLearning module, which includes the training and evaluation.

As of April 1, 2026, NCCP Make Ethical Decisions training and evaluation will be delivered as a single online module in the Locker. 

• The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Make Ethical Decisions (MED) module is transitioning to a new eLearning format in the Locker Learning Management System. 
• The new eLearning module will feature both the training and evaluation.

The instructions above * will be replaced with new login details on April 1, 2026.

Competition Introduction Clinic Fee - $225.00

(3 virtual modules + 1 in-person weekend = total of 24 hours) 

In order to complete your Competition Introduction Certification you MUST complete the following courses in addition to Softball Manitoba's Competition Introduction Clinic.

Competition Introduction Coach Evaluations

It is up to each coach to schedule their own evaluation. Simply contact an evaluator (listed below), share your practice schedule, schedule a date for them to come evaluate and complete the documents (2) below. If you have multiple coaches in your organization/on your team needing an evaluation, we suggest considering scheduling them all on the same day, that way you can ensure your organization is completed.

Please book your evaluations ASAP to account for rainout days, Evaluator availability, and time for your certification to be processed if you need it completed by Provincials.

Coaches are responsible for completing and forwarding the final two documents to their evaluator prior to their scheduled evaluation.

1. On-field Practice Evaluation Observation Kit
1. Section A - Completed by Coach prior to the evaluation and provided to the Evaluator.
2. Section B - Completed by Evaluator during practice evaluation.
3. Section C - Completed and signed by both Evaluator and Coach at the conclusion of the evaluation.
2. Coach Portfolio
1. Section 1 - must be completed in full prior to submitting to your Evaluator.
2. Section 2 - must be completed in full prior to submitting to your Evaluator. This section includes an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Template that needs to be completed.
3. Section 1 - must be completed in full prior to submitting to your Evaluator. This section also includes a Practice Plan Template that needs to be completed.
